On October, 12th 2020, Antonella was invited to present the webinar “Looking for a Quiet Life?” along with Dr Simon Jennings from Limerick City and County Council. The webinar was organized as part of Limerick European Green Leaf Event Series and it was moderated by Anne Goggin, Senior Executive Engineer,  Limerick City and County Council.
The aim of the webinar was twofold:

  • explore the importance of having access to tranquil spaces for your physical and mental well being;

  • invite people, particularly in Limerick, to become citizen scientists and use the Hush City App to tell us about quiet places where they find a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life. This will help Limerick City and County Council in the formal identification of  ‘Quiet Areas’ which need to be protected from inappropriate changes.

Am 12. Oktober 2020 war Antonella eingeladen, zusammen mit Dr. Simon Jennings vom Limerick Stadt- und Bezirksrat das Webinar “Auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen Leben” zu präsentieren. Das Webinar wurde als Teil der Limerick European Green Leaf Event Series organisiert und von Frau Anne Goggin, leitende Ingenieurin im Stadt- und Bezirksrat von Limerick.
Das Webinar verfolgte zwei Ziele:

  • die Bedeutung des Zugangs zu ruhigen Räumen für Ihre körperliche und geistige Gesundheit zu erforschen.

  • Laden Sie die Menschen in Limerick ein, Bürgerwissenschaftler zu werden, und nutzen Sie die Hush City App, um uns über ruhige Orte in Limerick zu informieren. Dies wird der Stadt und dem Bezirksrat von Limerick bei der formellen Identifizierung von “ruhigen Orten” helfen, die vor unangemessenen Veränderungen geschützt werden müssen.
